BOOTCAMP: Outdoor Lakeside Special

BOOTCAMP will meet outside! Challenge yourself with this fast- paced, calorie-blasting workout, using the traditional Boot Camp style approach. Boot Camp is geared toward all fitness levels. HIIT: High Intensity Interval Training

Get a total body workout in this non-stop, powerhouse workout that is guaranteed to burn calories and get your heart pumping. H.I.I.T. will include cardio intervals using various equipment and drills. Class begins in the main GroupX studio completing a ‘timed’ strength training workout. Then, it’s off to the treadmills for fat-burning, calorie torching intervals. You will build your endurance, speed, etc and your metabolism will remain elevated for hours after.

INSANE Cardio Mix

Get pushed to your limit with this extreme cardio mix workout. Burn fat with intervals of intense lower-body plyo metrics and sweat-inducing cardio. Build lean muscle and upper-body definition with strength-training and power moves, all of this INSANE ACTION PACKED cardio in one class!

Lean & Tone

Lean & Tone is a unique total body workout utilizing the body bar, light dumbbells, and dance-inspired moves to perform small isometric movements that create long, lean muscles

Mat Pilates

Pilates is a method of body conditioning based on using positioning and gravity to work the muscles. Inquire about 1 on 1 Private or Private Group instruction

Muscle Conditioning

A conditioning class that focuses on muscle strength and endurance through the use of weights, bands, body bars, stability balls and gravity.

Piloxing

Mix Pilates and boxing moves into a fat torching, muscle sculpting, core-centric interval workout, guaranteed to whip you into shape, using a class format that's both fun and challenging

Power Yoga

This is an athletic form of yoga where Hatha yoga poses are incorporated to increase one's energy and fitness level. A Hatha yoga class is recommended before this one.

RAC on the RUN

This is an outdoor running class. The first class will meet & run from RAC. At the end of each class Alison will notify you of the starting location for the following weeks run. This class is targeted for all running levels. Beginner to advance runner will find this class helpful to help build endurance, speed and strength. The class will run for 8 weeks, 1time per week. Each running workout will be a different style run to keep it fun and challenging!

SPIN YOUR WEIGHT OFF!

Your ride begins with a 30 min. warm up of rolling hills, steep climbs, false flats, sprints and much more. Now, prepare yourself for the the next 30 mins. of intense muscle conditioning workout using light weights to help you burn fat and build muscle.

Step

A moderate to high intensity class that involves stepping up and down using an adjustable platform incorporating various upper and lower body movements.

TABATA Interval Training

Tabata Interval training is the single most effective type of high intensity interval training. It’s also the most intense by far, and surprisingly it’s the shortest in duration, it only last for four minutes... but those four minutes produce remarkable effects.

ZUMBA Party!

This cardio based workout incorporates explosive Latin & exotic music rhythms with components of resistance training to tone the entire body in a “party like atmosphere”.

Class Guidelines - Please note: STREET SHOES NOT allowed in the studio

  • Please try to arrive for class on time, the warm-up is an important part of the class.
  • It is recommended that each new member attend the Group Fitness Open House, which is offered on the 3rd Wednesday of each month at 6:00pm. This is a time to learn the basics of the RAC classes.
  • If you are new to class, please identify yourself to the instructor so he/she can give you the appropriate guidance.
  • Work at your own level of intensity and impact. Appropriate footwear is required for all classes.
  • All classes are 55 minutes in length unless noted otherwise, so please allow for the previous class to finish before entering the studio. Cycling classes are all 45 minutes in length.
